Terms and Conditions*

Payment – Payment must be made in advance, and services will be provided only upon receipt of payment.
50% Payment must be made in advance, and services will be provided only upon receipt of payment.
Cancellations – Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
Pick-up and Drop-Off – Customers must be ready at the specified pick-up location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Delays caused by the customer may result in additional charges. Expedigo is not responsible for delays or missed appointments due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic or weather conditions.
Safety – Customers are expected to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner during the shuttle service. Seat belts must be worn at all times while the vehicle is in motion. Expedigo reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to, intoxication or disruptive behavior.
Termination of Service – Expedigo reserves the right to terminate the shuttle service at any time due to the violation of these terms and conditions or for reasons of safety.
Lost or Damage – Expedigo is not responsible for any lost or damaged items left in the vehicle by the Customer. Customers are advised to check the vehicle carefully before disembarking to ensure they have all their belongings.
Changes to Itinerary – Any changes to the booking itinerary, including additional stops or changes in destination, must be communicated to Expedigo in advance and may be subject to additional charges.
CHILDREN’S FARES
Children’s fares apply to ages 4–14 years inclusive.
Infants under 4 years travel free of charge (unless otherwise stated).
Passengers aged 14 years or under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on all Expedigo Tours & Travels services.
PRICE INCLUSIONS
All standard tours include:
Entry fees for listed attractions and pre-booked activities (optional extras may incur an additional cost).
Meals, snacks, or refreshments where specifically mentioned.
Guided commentary and tours at designated points of interest.
PRICES
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (15%).
Full payment is required at the time of booking for all day and overnight tour packages.
Credit card surcharges (up to 2.9%) or a minimum fee of $3 may apply.

LANGUAGE
All Expedigo tours are conducted in English, with commentary provided by your driver-guide.
CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Expedigo Tours & Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries, change vehicles, rearrange tour routes, or use alternative service providers where necessary.
In the unlikely event a tour cannot operate, we will offer an alternative operator or a full refund if no suitable replacement is available.
Minimum passenger numbers apply for some group tours (typically 4 passengers).
Expedigo Tours & Travels accepts no responsibility for property loss, personal injury, or damage sustained while on tour or participating in any third-party activity.
Optional experiences (e.g. ziplining, luging, zorbing, etc.) carry inherent risks, and participation is at your own discretion.
We cannot be held liable for delays, natural disasters, mechanical issues, or unforeseen events beyond our control.
Refunds will not be issued for unused tour portions or missed activities.
We reserve the right to remove any passenger whose behaviour disrupts the enjoyment of others; in such cases, no refund will be given.
Tours are subject to availability and may not operate daily.
In the event of a vehicle breakdown, reasonable alternative arrangements will be made. Compensation may be considered for delays exceeding 2 hours.
In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, extreme weather, or similar), a full refund less reasonable expenses will be issued.
Expedigo Tours & Travels is not responsible for costs associated with cancelled connecting travel or rescheduled tour departures.

Day Tours
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure: Full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hoursNo refund.
Multi-Day Tours (including accommodation)

Tours including TranzAlpine Train or special services
Amendments/cancellations more than 72 hours before departure: No charge.
Within 72 hours: 100% cancellation fee applies for non-refundable supplier tickets.
Private or Custom Tours
Terms will be specified at the time of booking.

Changes made more than 24 hours prior to departure are free of charge, subject to availability.
HEALTH, SAFETY & RISK DISCLOSURE
By joining a tour, all participants acknowledge and accept that Expedigo Tours & Travels operates in environments that may include uneven terrain, variable weather, or remote locations.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure appropriate fitness and clothing for each activity.
Any health or mobility concerns that could impact participation must be disclosed within 12 hours of booking.
Expedigo reserves the right to decline participation if safety is at risk. No refunds will be issued if disclosure was not made in advance.
For third-party operated activities, safety management and liability transfer to the external provider. Passengers participate at their own risk.
LUGGAGE POLICY
Checked Luggage:
 Luggage must be pre-approved and may incur a charge.
Carry-On Luggage:
Small personal items (e.g. handbags, umbrellas) are permitted.
Passengers are responsible for their own carry-on items.
Expedigo reserves the right to refuse excess, oversized, or prohibited luggage for safety reasons.
IMAGE USE & PRIVACY
Passengers acknowledge and consent that Expedigo Tours & Travels may capture photographs, audio, or video during tours for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media, print, and online advertising.
Requests for image removal or correction will be considered where practical; however, if materials have already been published, changes may not be possible.
